January 16, 2026 – PARK RAPIDS, MN — Kinship of the Park Rapids Area is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandon Mustful as its new Executive Director. Mustful joins the organization bringing a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment to community service.
Mustful comes to Kinship with decades of nonprofit expertise, most notably serving 11 years as the Executive Director of Great River Rescue in Bemidji. “Kinship provides vital lifelines for local youth, and I look forward to eventually growing our mentorship and Reading Buddies programs so we can reach even more families in the area,” said Mustful.
“The Kinship Board of Directors is excited to have Brandon lead Kinship into our next chapter of service and impact,” said Board President Erika Randall.
Under Mustful’s leadership, Kinship will continue to focus on its core programs:
- Friendship-Based Mentoring: Matching youth aged 6–16 with caring adults.
- Reading Buddies: A school-based program helping children develop a lifelong love of books and literacy.
Kinship is currently seeking new volunteers to help meet the growing needs of local youth.
