Wanted: Executive Director of dynamic youth mentoring organization
Kinship of the Park Rapids Area
Kinship empowers youth to make positive life choices through relationships with caring mentors.
Primary responsibilities: Implement the mission of Kinship through planning and directing the operations of the organization; recruit volunteers for mentor matches and reading support; provide financial oversight, fund development, public relations and effective leadership. This position reports to the board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in nonprofit leadership preferred.
- Strong background in program development, donor relations, and grant writing.
Required:
- Excellent public speaking, writing and interpersonal communication skills to work with a wide variety of professionals, community leaders, volunteers and families
- Must be computer literate and experienced with database applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks, and social media.
- A flexible schedule is required to accommodate evening or weekend appointments and/or activities.
Remote hybrid position. Up to 40 hours per week. Holiday pay, PTO and retirement benefit. Salary commensurate with experience.
